Front Porch
Step onto the welcoming front porch and relax in comfortable chairs as you soak in gorgeous mountain views. Savor your morning coffee, indulge in a refreshing beer with your buddies, or share a glass of wine with your partner, all while listening to the sounds of chirping birds and the gentle flow of water in the background. Unwind with a good book, surrounded by the crisp mountain air and forest scents, as you find solace in the serenity of a back-to-basics cabin life.
Comfort and Amenities Inside
You'll find a cozy dining room and a well-equipped cooking station, perfect for preparing delicious meals and enjoying family gatherings. The cabin's interior offers a welcoming retreat from the elements, where you can relax by sharing stories, playing board games or cards, or simply enjoying each other's company with some music.
Sleeps 4
The cabin accommodates up to four guests. There are two single beds in the loft and two big comfy couches on the main level. Please bring your own sleeping bags and pillows for a comfortable stay.
Back Screened-In Porch and Outdoor Kitchen
The back screened-in porch doubles as an outdoor kitchen and dining area. It is equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, pots, and pans. Please bring your own paper towels and paper plates, though there is plenty of throwaway cutlery in the drawers. This area provides a great option for outdoor cooking and dining while staying protected from bugs, especially during the spring when black flies and mosquitoes are prevalent. The screened-in porch ensures that no flies can get into your cooking or food on the table, allowing you to enjoy outdoor dining even when it's raining.
Outdoor Shower
Experience the rustic charm of our basic outdoor shower stall, available for use from spring to fall. Affectionately called the hillbilly shower, it features a battery-operated shower head pump. Simply place the pump end of the hose into a warm pot of water, turn on the shower head, and enjoy a refreshing rinse surrounded by nature. Just be sure the water has cooled to no more than 50°C before use.
Solar Lighting
With eco-friendly solar lighting illuminating both the indoor and outdoor spaces, you can bask in the warm glow of nature day and night.
Extra Comfort & Convenience at Night
We now offer a high-quality air mattress that can be easily inflated with a pump and placed on the main floor, right in front of the wood stove — perfect for a warm and restful night together.
For added nighttime convenience, we’ve included a portable 6-gallon RV toilet with a piston flush handle, especially appreciated by ladies, so there’s no need to head to the outhouse in the dark!
